Recording Recording artists, songwriters, and bands have the option to select our all-inclusive full production studio services or individual services to complement any existing material for album projects, artist packages, or recorded demos. We offer mastering with our recording services. Our mastering meets industry specific Redbook Standards. This means the ISRC code (International Standard Recording Code) is embedded within each song for airplay tracking purposes. You get your master files. As a precaution, we also keep your master files onsite and backed up offsite. Recording Artists We have worked with individuals and bands who have their own original material, record songs from our catalogs of original songs, and who record previously recorded songs. If you are recording original material, we can help with copyrights, marketing and distribution. If you are recording previously recorded material, you may have the option to purchase a mechanical license which will allow you to sell your recording. If you would like, we will provide a song search original songs from our catalogs along with some of the top publishing catalogs in Nashville for your recording. A song search is a collection of proposed songs appropriate for your vocal style and interest. Our professional musicians can change the key to adapt to your vocal range and style. You can also get a mechanical license on these songs, allowing you to sell your recording. Songwriters Do you have several songs that you’d like to pitch to recording artists, producers, and publishing houses? At Dixiana, we record your lyrics with professional musicians and demo singers who work with you to capture your interpretation of your lyrics. These are professional recordings that can be distributed in person, by mail or on websites. They may remain single demos or may become part of an album. Most importantly, you retain your rights as a songwriter.
